If Singapore is truly the best, you will
see the majority of new immigrants that flock to Singapore from
first world countries, folks from Switzerland, Denmark,
Norway, Germany, France, US, Australia and Japan will be
taking up citizenship in Singapore.
But the reality is, the majority of our new citizens are from
third world countries (eg China, India, Indonesia, Philippines,
Cambodia and Vietnam).
Your friend probably lacks the core skills to make it
out in the real world and can only eke out a meagre
existence in Singapore.
